  For the main course my two friends ordered fish whereas I had a veal chop. The fish was literally just slapped on a plate and lacked any form of presentation; indeed there were no vegetables or potatoes of any kind to accompany them. My chop was chewy and was accompanied by a tiny spoonful of ratatouille and not more than a dozen french fries. The only saving grace was the bottle of local white wine (Yugo Blanco) which was excellent and reasonably priced at €11.

  If you do want to try it, I would add that the waiter was friendly and professional, and the toilets were clean, but, though they advertise free wifi, the signal in our dining room was so weak that I could not connect. Parking outside in the street is easy, but, in the summer heat, you should be aware that the restaurant is not dog friendly.

  I have often used this restaurant in the past for celebrations. Sadly, however, standards seem to have slipped and the meal we had recently was very disappointing. We were there at the weekend and so the 'menu del día' was not on offer. This costs €10.50 and includes, three courses, wine or beer and coffee -it may well be good value, but the 'a la carte' was not.

  The meal took over two hours and even though we had three beers to start with and coffees to finish, I felt that the bill at over €80 was excessive. It is unlikely that I will be returning in the near future.

  There were three of us and two of us had the Gazpacho Andaluz whilst the third member of the party had Sopa de Ajo - both dishes were reasonable, but we had to wait over thirty minutes for them to arrive. To be fair, the restaurant appeared to be catering for a large wedding and a family get together at the same time, so maybe I am being unfair.

  For desert one of us had custard and two of us had a kind of chocolate mousse on a sponge base which was just about ok.
